Karen Osburn, Geneva Historical Society Archivist and Geneva City Historian, will share "The Stories of Three Cemeteries" at the February meeting of the Antiques Club of the Finger Lakes.
Karen's talk will focus on Geneva's three largest cemeteries: Pulteney Street (now Pulteney in Glenwood), Washington Street, and Glenwood. Learn how the city acquired the land for each cemetery. Discover the stories of some of the interesting folks buried in them and what the symbols on the headstones mean and more. Some copies of the AGS Quarterly, the Bulletin of the Association for Gravestone Studies will also be available for attendees to peruse.« Back to Calendar of Events
