History Sandwiched In: Local Legends and Lore

"History Sandwiched In" is a program series at the Geneva Historical Society featuring short presentations conducted on the first Wednesday of the month. They are held during the workday lunch hour. The programs will be held virtually programs on Zoom for fall 2020. The next program in the series is "Local Legends and Lore" on October 7, 2020 at 12:30 p.m.

Every place has legends, rumors, or tall tales. John Marks, curator of collections and exhibits, will share some of Geneva's legends. Seneca Lake is at the center of many local stories. John will invite participants to share any legends that they've heard as well.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, this program will be presented virtually through Zoom. A device, internet connection, and email address are necessary to participate. To register click here. For any problems with registration or to register by phone, call the Geneva Historical Society office at 315-789-5151. Registrations must be complete before 5 p.m. October 6, the day before the program.
