2019 Wassail Bowl and Sale

Enjoy a holiday tradition with a new twist.  Like the Wassail Bowl and Sale, the Holiday Market will feature items donated and handcrafted by community members.  The Holiday Market will be held from December 3 to 5, 10 to 12, and 17 to 19. The market will run Thursdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Hucker Gallery at the Geneva History Museum, 543 South Main Street, Geneva.   New items will be added to the selection regularly.  Booths for the Holiday Market will be  –

  • “Attic Treasures” Booth – Antiques, Collectibles, and Quality Gift Items.
  • Carriage House Gift Shop – Local Books, Ornaments, Sweatshirts, and T-shirts.
  • Christmas Shoppe – Gently-used Christmas Items and Decorations.
  • Food Booth – Jams, Jellies, and Pickles.
  • Holiday Greens – Wreaths and Kissing Balls on December 5 only.
  • Handcrafted Gifts – Crocheted, Knitted, Embroidered, and Quilted Items.

A raffle is also being held during the Holiday Market.  Prizes include a private tour of Rose Hill Mansion for six people with a wine and cheese reception, basket of Finger Lakes wine and Finger Lakes Gift Basket.  Raffle tickets are $1 each or 12 for $10.   For tickets call the Historical Society office at 315-789-5151 or purchase them at the Holiday Market.  The raffle drawing will be held on Saturday, December 19 at 4 pm.

Admission to the Holiday Market is free of charge.  All proceeds benefit the Geneva Historical Society.

2017 Wassail Bowl and Sale

For the protection of our community, safety measures, including face coverings, social distancing and capacity restrictions, will be in place during the Holiday Market.

For those more comfortable with a private shopping experience, 30 minute and 60 minute blocks of time to browse and shop are available on December 7, 8, 9, 14, 15 or 16 from 10 am to 3 pm.  A shopper can come alone or bring up to two additional people.  To arrange for a private shopping time, call the Historical Society office at 315-789-5151.

Parking is on the street or in the Trinity Episcopal Church lot across the street.

Get into the holiday spirit and shop for gifts or decorations while supporting the Historical Society!
