The 1883 Society

A community of forward-thinking individuals who provide a legacy of support and dependable funding for the Geneva Historical Society.

Since 1883 the Geneva Historical Society has been telling Geneva’s stories.  The 1883 Society recognizes and honors those friends and members of the Historical Society who have made a commitment to ensure Geneva’s stories are shared with audiences for generations to come by including the Historical Society in their estate plans.

There are no dues or fees associated with membership in the 1883 Society.  By simply including the Historical Society in your estate plans, regardless of amount, you automatically become a member.  As a member, you will receive

  • Recognition in the Historical Society’s Annual Report, newsletters, and website.
  • Invitation to an annual social gathering just for members of the 1883 Society.
  • Personal satisfaction in ensuring  that Geneva’s stories are shared with audiences for years to come.

  • Make a gift to the Historical Society in your will.
